Throughout Egypt, the average annual temperature increases moving southward from Alexandria to Aswan. Alexandria is considered a popular resort as of its cooler temperatures during the summer comparing with other destinations. While in southern Egypt, June temperatures can be as low as 10° C at night and as high as 41° C during the day when the sky is clear.
In the desert regions, summer temperatures range from 7° C at night to 43° C during the day, while in winter temperatures can be as low as 0° C at night and as high as 18° C during the day.
In coastal areas it ranges between a minimum of 14° C in winter and a maximum of 30° C in summer.
